SSC CGL syllabus for GK can be further categorized into two sections as we've discussed below-
General awareness is not something you can expect to master in a day but from an exam point of view, if you spend time consistently, you can perform well in relatively less time as compared to Quantitative Aptitude. This section is very important because this is the only section which can be attempted quickly i.e. in 7-8 minutes and at the same time, decent marks can be scored in this section if prepared well. General Awareness section helps a student in getting a good rank.
We've structured SSC CGL Maths syllabus in multiple sections below. Now you can see how quants syllabus can be divided separately.
The questions in this section are designed to test the ability of appropriate use of numbers. The scope of quantitative ability is clearly defined and is limited to class 10th level mathematics. If you have good command over this section, you can score good marks. All you need to do is attempt the questions with good accuracy because there is a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.
Important Tip: English Section is one section that gets mixed responses from candidates depending upon their educational background and preparation level. For some, this is an easy task but for others, this section becomes a nightmare and biggest hurdle in getting a good score in the exam.
We have listed all the important topics of quantitative aptitude section in SSC CGL Tier II Exam below. The syllabus of SSC CGL Tier I and Tier II is same but the difficulty level of SSC CGL Tier II is much higher. You will rarely find any question which is formula based.
In SSC CGL Tier II, Paper 2 ( English) is of 200 marks and 200 questions are asked. Direct & Indirect, Active & Passive topics have a good weight-age in English paper of SSC CGL Tier II.
Important Note:
(i): Paper-I & II are compulsory for all the categories of posts.
(ii): Paper-III is only for those candidates who apply for the post of Junior Statistical Officer.
(iii): Paper IV is only for those candidates who apply for the post of Assistant Audit Officer.
(iv): Candidates opting for the post of Compiler and/or Statistical Investigator Gr. II and Assistant Audit Officer must ensure that they possess the requisite qualification as mentioned above. Commission reserves the right to take appropriate action against applicants who do not possess the requisite eligibility while opting for the post of Compiler and/or Statistical Investigator Gr. II and Assistant Audit Officer.

Tier-II of the Combined Graduate Level Examination -2018 will be of Objective Type Multiple Choice.Quantitative Ability

SSC CGL Tier 3 Syllabus 2018
The exam syllabus of SSC CGL Tier III is much different from previous above. It will be written examination (offline mode) in which Precis Writing/Essay/Formal Letter/Informal Letter are asked. The time duration for the Tier III exam is 60 minutes.Important Note:
(i): Paper-I & II are compulsory for all the categories of posts.
(ii): Paper-III is only for those candidates who apply for the post of Junior Statistical Officer.
(iii): Paper IV is only for those candidates who apply for the post of Assistant Audit Officer.
(iv): Candidates opting for the post of Compiler and/or Statistical Investigator Gr. II and Assistant Audit Officer must ensure that they possess the requisite qualification as mentioned above.
